About King Teddy
About Moe Nelson
Because his hair grows at an almost supernatural rate of speed, Moe can change his appearance rapidly and dramatically, making him the Robert De Niro of the stand-up bass world. This genetic oddity, coupled with the small and strange luggage that he brings to all performances (even with his own band, the Hula Monsters) , would be disconcerting in anyone else. But Moe's musicality, easy-going nature, and willingness to play his bass while lying on his back easily tip the scales to make him a local favorite among musicians and audiences alike.
